Hi quick question, does anyone know were to get some darker coloured sand in the uk? Some more natural borwn coloured sand?

i think they sell it lfs, have you tried ebay, im sure ive seen it on there

Try looking at very fine quartz gravel (such as the silica 'sand' here which looks more like a grit sized gravel), tends to be a darker shade than sand usually is. I believe that TGM do fine red gravel (which from pics I have seen actually looks more brown than red), but you would need to email them to get details as they don't have it listed on their website.
