I've been having a go at it with these barbs, but am unsure what this is. I didn't think it looks like a parasite, but am unsure what a prolapsed anus appears like. Any help would be great!

It's either a really big pink poop or it's the fish intestine that has pushed out of its butt.

How long has it been like that?
Does it fall off the fish or just hang there continuously?
Is the fish still eating?

Hey Colin,

I just noticed this last night and it doesn't seem to have fallen off yet. Just hanging there continuously. When I managed to net him up into a bowl for that picture it didn't come off either.

For the most part he seems to be acting normal: he's schooling with the others and eating food when fed.

Thanks!
