had my tank up and running for a year now would a a deep clean be ok. and i need to rewash the sand and clean the glass as well iam keeping the water. as well to be put back in well and trim the plants back as well. will this be ok

Should be fine, your filter will harbor the majority of the good bacteria :good:

I did a rescape not long ago in one of my tanks, through disturbing the substrate I got a Nitrite spike, but I did it with the fish still in the tank and it wasn't a clean so you should be OK.
I presume you are taking the fish out while you do it all.

all the fish will be taken out and plants as well and i start on the sand wich should not take long to do i am saveing the water as well

The water won't be much help because it doesn't have the good bacteria, I'd say best to use fresh, new dechlorinated water rather than using the old water. You can put the filter media in your old water while you clean.

thanks aquascaper done the tank yeserday looks good as new took all the fish out. and wash the sand and cleaned the tank well happy

I bet the fish are happy with the nice clean tank :good:
