Danios (zebra)

Hi Just read on another site that zebra danios are not good to keep with neons, true?? if so, can you tell me any other top swimmers that will be ok in a community tank. Fish: rasboras, plattys, tetras, corys, and amano shrimps? Thanks.

I've got zebras and danios in my 20g tank and they get on fine. As long as there is plenty of space for them to swim they should be ok, i've never had any problems, I've got 5 zebras, 5 neons, 5 head and light tails. they all seem happy enough.

False
the only fish that one should avoid when keeping ZDs are fish with long flowing fins, especialy bettas.

Hi thanks for the reply allaboutthefish. heard you were the danio expert Wolf, cheers. I have a 40gal tank for them so was hoping what I'd read was false, and I have no long finned fish
