HI all,

My reading sfor last week were all more or les the same:

ph 7.6
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0

I have been doing about a 20% water change every other day, adding Safe Guard to the room temp tap water, and then Filter Start every other day also.

Today my water readings are:

ph 7.6
Ammonia 2.0
Nitire 0
Nitrate 0

Now, should I do another water change tonight, to lower the ammonia, or should I leave it to let it begin cycling?

All fish are looking healthy and assertive, all are feeding well twice or three times a day (little and often)

If the fish are not stressed go with it, good luck.

What i mean is no don't do a water change if the fish look ok.

Yes they're all doing there usuall stuff

I do tend to sit and stare at them for hours on end in the evening lol, it's so relaxing.

I know i do, till things go wrong then it's a nightmare.

I was quite annoyed with tham last night, because I had just fed my corn snake, and I was hoping to see him feed (he's my new addition) so I had the vivarium on the table in front of me.

I laid on the settee, and I was watching the fish, and the sound of the pump must have made me nod off.

I came to and the snake had just finished his tea *grumble*
