Cycling Again Sorry

im doing the fishless cycle been going for just over a week now my ammonia has finally dropped to 0 my nitrite was about 5.0 so i added more ammonia up to about 4ppm and will check again in morning to see if its dropped but have noticed my water has gone cloudy have i done somethig wrong or is that normal will it go when i do the 90% water change at the end?

any advice greatly appreciated thanks

Sounds normal.

If you squeeeze your other filter sponge in some tank water & pour it in it will speed things up.

the actual filter came out of a mature tank anyway and put some gravl out of the old tank in also

but will it clear up with the water change or will it just clear itself eventually?
