Here are the results so far for the 10 gallon tank I have set up.

Stocking
08/12/02 2 Platys 1 died within a matter of hours and replaced by another on 9/12/02

Now showing traces of Nitrite so I assume the cycle has started.

How high do I let the nitrite go before I change some water?

Is testing every other day OK or do I need to go daily?

Thanks

Jerry

Test the ammonia daily for about the next week. Keep us posted on the results, you should probably then start testing for nitrite daily after another week or so.
