cycle a 55 ?

wut kinds of fish r good to cycle a 55 gallon with? and how many? also wut would b sum good stuff besides plants and sadn to put in it?

Danios..., but you could also just use Amonia. That is what I will do next time.

Rocks, go to a nearby river (if you have one) or someplace and get rocks.

Driftwood/bogwood is also nice.

If you want to use fish, get about 10 danios to cycle that 55 gallon

Make sure they are boiled before going into your tank

Boiled and tested w/ Vinegar or the Nitrate #1 from a test kit.

I think that depends what fishes you're going to put int it. For instance with acidic fish, you can add driftwood. You can also add decors that allow the fishes places to hide. Rocks. Choice in plants might also depend on what fish, as some plants are more tolerant of certain conditions than others (e.g. brackish tank will limit your choices)

German Blue Rams will not last thru a cycle.
