They range from 1-2 cm. Not all the same size.
So I should crush the adult flakes into smaller pieces & feed that? I have no idea how old peacock cichlids of that size are.
Yep do that, give them a piece of an algae disc and see if they will eat that as well. They will just come out and peck at the algae disc.

i like sea monkeys but...
worms are kinda creepy...
except for bristleworms
they are cool

Do you have any suggestions for my 3 baby peacocks? I am feeding them the same food the adults had: Wardley Tropical Fish Flake food.
I don’t have any worms other than cubes of frozen red worms & frozen brine shrimp. Not ready to raise up any worms right now, although it’s intriguing.
I'm not a fan of Wardley foods - read the label closely. I'd switch to a higher quality food like one of those referenced in Commercial Fish Foods.

WOW! Fantastic blog! Love the videos.
I’ve seen that Cory guy before on YouTube & really like him.

My own white worms had grown up enough for me to take them out and we went to a couple of museums, a small avant garde art gallery and finished up at the theatre.
Are they cultured now?

No! They must attend a few ballets and at least one opera, preferably in Italian. Please dress them appropriately.
Some folks just don't get out enough!
