does this sound okay?

4 turbo snails
4 cerith snails
8 nassuarias snails
5 red scarlet reef hermits

thats it for crabs/snails

and would the following shrimp be okay together?
2 peppermint shrimp (the aiptaisa killing bad boys)
1 fire shrimp?

or i could replace the fire shrimp with a skunk cleaner shrimp.

could you please look at my numbers and make adjustments if necassary, will those snails i have chosen deal with:
cyno
diatoms
short hair algae
and would any of them turn the sand over?

That quite a lot of snails for a new set up, I would get two of each turbo and Astrea, if you can get ceriths, get a couple and defo the 8/10 nass.

Hermits maybe 4

That's exactly what I have in my 128 ltr

cyno - don't think any will eat Cyno
diatoms - Hermits will make short work of the diatoms
short hair algae - not that I am aware of - need an emerald crab or similar for that - but will wait to be corrected
and would any of them turn the sand over? Yes, the Nass

Bless ya mate, you are young. where in derbyshire you from? you should tray ask your parents for a lift to Wharf Aquatics in Pinxton. Its probably one of the best shops in the midlands and one of my LFSs. The lads in the marine section offer great advice and they arn't too expensive either. :good:
