Inherrited a Crypt with the tank i have recently purchased and was wodering if someone could ID it for me?

looks like wendtii green to me... :unsure: you wanna wait for someone who knows what they're talking about comes along though :good:

The stalks look to long for Wendtii green and the leaves don't look straight enough.
 
Cheers. I got about 10-12 plants from it when i split it so i have split them between my 180 and the nano. It is very erm... curly. :lol: The roots must have been close on to a foot in length too, so i have trimmed these up also.

Thanks for the i.d. they look really vivid green and healthy.

Mine have really long stalks and wrinkly leaf edges like those... perhaps mine are not wendtii either then? :unsure:

That's great - good roots are a fab start. Water changes should help with some of the melting...
 
this is a typical Wendtii green leaf, if you look at the leaves on Minnts pics they are more rounded, which is what makes me think its more of a Walkeri
