Couple questions...

-Is there any place someone can buy fish-safe paint? I'd love to decorate some rocks or pvc pipes for my boys.
-Is hot glue okay to use on decorations for my tanks? I bought a decorative rock with hot glued plants on it...so maybe??
-Would my bettas like a "cave" that's dark inside or see through?

I've used hot glue on something for the tanks before. Arrgh I can't remember what though,but it was fine. I don't know about fish safe paint,but I know it's been done.I'm just not certain which to use. Probably acrylic,not oil or water based.Someone else can help ya with that hopefully.
Bettas love caves,just make sure it doesn't have small holes that he'll get stuck in. They can drown.

Yep, bettas do love caves!
The ones mine all love the best are the ones from WalMart (GAG) that look like this:

I now buy them elsewhere than WalMart, but just wanted to tell you that's where you would probably be able to find them in your area.
