The Front pic was the hardest, I sat with the lens right against the glass to stop any flash appearing in the pic. I had to sit in the same position for about 20 mins till one swam past

That male JD is a handsome chap, its a nice dark one, I find females are usually the black ones and the males usually a sandy colour so yours is really nice

Great pics, especially the Frontosa! The fish store on my delivery round has a group of these in the under-counter display tank with some Clown Loaches and so often I walk in with the mail to find the Frontosa are sinking into the background!
