Went to lfs to get some water tested in big tank upstairs...fine he says...cursory glance at tanks..blue betta...another blue one...crane my neck at bottom tank and OMG theres a yellow one..never had a yellow...say to bloke serving I bet these bettas are not ready to be sold yet are they..yes he said. see piccie attached...please take into consideration this is the first piccie I have ever took and put in my photobucket son usually does it so ignore the biccies in background..

look at his little face! gonna move my coldwater fish upstairs and have a row of bettas on worksurface in kitchen because I got 5 now...and they all got their own little heaters. I just had to put them all next to each other apart from new one and they all had a major flare! But they cant see each other now so they have calmed down.

Hubby reckons he looks like a ghost so ghost it is. When the light catches his fins they have a purple sheen on them I cant stop looking at him! Nearly burnt hubbys dinner as I kept admiring him...Hubby just said havent you got enough bettas? you cant have too many...should think himself lucky I dont breed them

dont believe it..took water to lfs to be tested as was worried about tank..water ok..so one male black mollie (I think) is now sharing with a betta (using divider) so leave tank upstairs for a bit to put my coldwater in ...son finds a baby platy in there havent had plaites in for about a fortnight so god knows where he came from..wanted to feed him to bettas but son wouldnt let me....tried to give ghost a flake but he rolled his eyes at me and swam off! bless him...got to go line dancing so I will just go and give him a kiss and say bye to hubby!
