Would it be possible to have 1 or 2 Bettas with
2 Angels and 2 Catfish in a 15gallon tank (70L).

Just wondering, because i have had my tank a year, and would like some more colour in it once i have moved house.

Also, where can i get in the UK?

i would say no. for one a male betta shouldnt be kept with another betta, two females would be ok, and the angels are an aggressive fish would probly have some problems with nipping, and such

No not with the angels. A male needs to be kept alone in most cases. Females are better in single species tanks in groups of 5/6. You can sometimes keep ottos, ADF's and some people say tetras, but tetras can nip the tails of the bettas. Snails are another option.

For bettas in the UK have a look on ...mod edit... lots of breeders etc

Please dont list other forums on the board.

Oh ok thanks, wasnt planning on breeding (just females), but i guess the angels would be the nipping problem. Oooh.

Hmm, what kind of fish will bring some good colour.

Any Suggestions.

2 catfish and 2 angels,

1 of the angels used to be rather aggressive, until he went to solitery confinement for a week (seperated), then he stopped.

Just wanting more colour really, big colourful fish.

I didnt mean you should breed I meant that you will find breeders on there to purchase a betta from!

You are rather limited on big fish with only a 15G tank. I would say that there is not enough room for the two angels in that tank.

Im not sure what else you can put with angels, post on the section for angel fish the people in there will be able to help

YOu CAN NEVER have only 2 females together nomatter what other fish are together with them,You MUST always hae 3

Actually thats not correct. If you are keeping female Betta's you should ideally have at least 5 so that they can create a pecking order between themselves
