Not sure where to put this but I've always liked bottom dwelling fish, so would really like them in my first tank!

My tank is 65l, fairly heavily planted and its 24" long. I'm just wondering whether a small group of Panda corys or 2/3 ottos would be suitable? Or neither, and I could just get some shrimp

I've been doing research but answers are often conflicting.

I'm sorry for asking so many questions around this forum, but better safe than sorry I suppose!!

Cheers,
Axy

What else is in your tank, is it planted, & what substrate do you have?

Corydoras in my opinion are the best, because they are small with usually a max of 3", unless it is a pygmy
They also help clean up leftover waste and dont add much to the bioload, but they are schooling fish and should be kept at 3+ but prefer 6+
the ottos i have never tried, but they semm kind of shy and boring, they should also be kept in schools of three
Both of these catfish do not eat only algea so make sure to feed them sinking pellets or sink some flake food
I have no idea about the shrimp though XP

Corys! As long as the substrate is fine/soft. My pandas are awesome, so social and active.

A group of 3/4 pandas would be ok in your tank.
They don't clean up waste, though they will eat any food that makes it to the bottom, as for bioload they add as much as any 2/3" fishThey should be fed sinking wafers & do enjoy live food as a treat.
They do prefer a sand substrate, although a fine rounded gravel is ok too
Oto's are one of my favourite fish, though are shy, so aren't for everyone
