ph 8.3
amm 0
nitr 0

cal 490
phos 0.5

i have been adding marine buffer, cal, mag, phosphate remover

should i be doing anything else i use red sea pro salt and ro water

and what corals can i keep under that lightning my aim is hard corals but will add more lights if have to should i add any more addictives for them

i have 3xkorrallen 2 power heads and 2x3 korralen power heads and a v2 400 protine skimmer

Are you doing regular water changes?

i have been adding marine buffer, cal, mag, phosphate remover

Are you testing before dosing?

should i be doing anything else i use red sea pro salt and ro water

:good:

and what corals can i keep under that lightning my aim is hard corals but will add more lights if have to should i add any more addictives for them

what sort of hard corals, lps or sps - lighting would be ok for euphyllias

i have 3xkorrallen 2 power heads and 2x3 korralen power heads and a v2 400 protine skimmer

Good amount of flow

so is there anything else i need

what is your sg? Needs to be 1.026 for corals
thanks

hello

my salt is sitting at 1.025 yes i do test what i add and do 25%once every 3 weeks my nitrate always stays at 5 i would like to add montapora and diffrent lps coral and a few soft corals i also forgot to mention i have a majestic angel in my tank witch is reef safe as i was looking after my mates fish and corals just so you know when i start to upload pics

thanks again

Should be safe with those mate..monti's are hardy and don't need crazy lights...lps won't mind low po4 either..it will simply slow down their skeletal growth rate...a few sps might slip in no problems if you stick to green species

well i am going to build up with soft corals this month and and next month i with try a small hammer coral what if i bought a 150w halide light will that help the coral growth rate

how deep is the tank mate..some softies will melt if lighting intensity is too high....if over 18" deep it will help your lps and selected sps species

Hi bud you didnt read the thread thats Shocking lol my tank is 22" deep i wasnt looking for much corals i just wanted some toadstools and exina and lps corals

Lol..not with it at the minute....

150 watt would do fine on there mate..just keep a couple of blue tubes as well and you'll be laughing....got a 150 on mine and it's 3 feet deep..lps at bottom in there and thriving..
Those otheers won't need it but will do them no harm ...they're more interested in flow around them

so you think i could keep almost any coral under those lights can i just ask what addictive do you add in the tank
