Thanks,

looks like hammer coral/Euphyllia sp. to me

Looks like a Euphyllia ancora hammer or may be E divisa frogspawn :book:

Definately some kind of Euphyllia though :good:

unless someone know better

Yep, Euphyllia ancora hammer, pink tipped with green polyps - lovely coral - looks like it needs a bit more flow though and then it will expand more :good:

I really like Euphylia - I have the same Hammer (mine is a gorgeous pink with lime green) along with a frogspawn Divisia (cost me), dark brown with bright green tips, am just looking for a really lovely torch now :good:

You will need to either move the hammer or the zoas though, the zoas will not like being so close to the hammer and will not open up when it starts to spread and touch them

Cut the bottom off a Coke bottle, and take the cap off (when it's empty obviously) and place it over the coral, trying to avoid touching the feeding tenticles. It may need weighing down to stay in place. You then add live brine/mysis/other shrimp to the bottle and allow it time to catch and eat the shrimp. Once dome, lift the bottle and allow the left overs into the tank for the other livestock :good: This is after lights out when the thing is looking to feed BTW. Weekly should be often enough, since it is just a supplimentary diet from what I remeber being told at work, so thats good caurse to await some confirmation  You can get them to eat frozen also, but with more difficulty IME. The Coke bottle method is what I use for my Bubble coral and for those corals that need target feeding at work :good:

It's too small to get a good diagnosis, but I would lean towards E. Paradivisa aka branching frogspawn. Only other option would be E. Paranchora aka branching hammer. Difference is hammers have single tentacles coming from the mouth while frogspawns have tentacles that divide like tree branches. There are morphs of them as they can cross breed too. Either way care is the same.

And I've got an easier feeding method than rabbut's ;). Get a turkey baster, fill with water and frozen food, baste just a couple drops near the mouth, and leave it be :)

I like the E. Paranchora ID. What the picture doesn't show is that in the back you can see where a brach was trimmed off before i bought the frag. I've also found some pictures online that match mine. I like the turkey baster idea too. That has worked for my mushrooms and i already have the equipment! Working on redirecting flow too so he can get a little bit more. Thanks for everything guys!
