I bought this new coral the other day and I was told it was a daisy coral. It doesn't really look like one to me I was wondering if anyone could I.D it for me and if anyone knew what kind of water movement and lighting it would prefer.
Thanks.

I just googled it, thats definately what it is.
When I got it the other day it had about 9 heads on it and i couldn't find anywhere it would sit in my tank, so I snapped it and i have one with 6 and one with 3 now. It only cost $30 too!

thats very good.

they usually go for around £5-7.50 per head over here in the UK

Good price for sure :good:. Duncanopsamnia axifuga are a very hardy coral and are pretty tolerant of varying conditions. Growth via photosynthesis ONLY is very slow. If you spot feed them mysis/brine/krill/etc a duncan will grow like a weed...
