Kinda neat lookin'. It looked like little bits of crap when I first got the zoos it is growing out of, but it's starting to become pretty awesome :D. Yes, it really is that purple.

It doesn't look like a macro to me....it looks like some sort of encrusting coral. SH

A friend of mine bought a glove polyp with a milk colored algae/coral on it. It grows much faster than the glove polyps. The milk colored substance grew twice in size in two months. The milk colored substance looks very similar to the purple in this picture but is a little larger in size and bends some in the water flow. Any ideas? If it may not be a pest, I was going to detact a piece for my tank.

Yeah, it sure is a macro algae. I had some but my snails ate it! :-( Ill try and remember the name, it might take a few days tough. :S My memory fails me!

Yeah, it's almost definitely macro. Very fast-growing.
