Hey Im kinda new to cichlids, I was thinking of adding a female convict and a Blood Parrot Cichlid to my 50g tank.
I read they can get really aggressive, especially when protecting fry, so im not getting a pair.

Will my Synos, RTBS, Albino Senegal Bichir, BN Pleco, midnight catfish be fine living with these cichlids?
I liked these cichlids for a while just afraid to b too aggressive for my tank. THnx in advance.

What size tank is it?

How about a nice Blue Acara and/or Firemouth? They're less aggressive than a Convict (most of the time)...

And I'll never consider a blood parrot, each to their own though

Its a 50gallon 4foot tank. Will the convict b too be aggressive to my current fish? I liked how Blood Parrot looks chilled. I guess the Blood Parrot isnt too aggressive?

I was considering Blue Acara n Firemouth too, just only seen them in pics n videos tho. I like how the firemouths flare too.
Thnx.

SOunds like you are fairly full for a 50G anyway. A mature adult parrot can get huge, so is probably not a good idea for your 50G. A convict may well work OK. I don't see anything in your stocklist that it would see as a direct threat.

Thnx I just afraid of Convict biting my fish eye off, heard it b4, I have strong filtration in my tank clean weekly so i dont mind overstocking a little. I'll just get 1 cichlid then, I mite even consider the Firemouth, I'll check it out.Thnx again.

Firemouth may be a better choice, as they are less aggressive than convicts

Hey I just saw pics n videos of salvini cichlid, they look really nice, anybody had these fish b4? are they gonna b too aggressive? THnx

Salvini can be very aggressive!

I stand by my first suggestion and as your tank stocking is pretty much full either a Firemouth / Blue Acara / Port Acara
