Congo Tetras

I hve several Congo tetras. I hve been feeding them Omega brand fish flakes. They eat them, but seem to be reluctant to eat them. Do they only eat plants in the wild? Is there a food that would be more appropriate for Congo tetras?

Huh, I have never seen or heard of a congo tetra. They look very beatiful, but look like a kind of a chore to take care of.

Congos will eat small aquatic insects and their larve in the wild as well as plant foods,try feeding them daphnia, brine shrimp,bloodworm and glassworm all of which will be taken.
