as the title says i am confused regarding plantign my tank, if i do a low tech set up no co2 do i still need to add nutrients to the water and do the need to go in any sort of fertilizer like normal plants and what plants would u recomend for this sort of set up, or would a co2 set up be better ( the nutrafin co2 kit ) but im unsure with this as what else i need to do do i need to add any more nutrients to the water ? if yes is there a bottled version that adds all of this? sorry if its confusing to read but i generally dont have a clue :(

To answer your first question. In low light, non-CO2 tanks you don't need to dose that much nutrients. Most will be supplied by your fish and substrate. You might have to add some trace elements every now and then but nothing major. It's the easy life :D
A good trace element fert is Easylife Profito.
Whether you need CO2 or not is largely dependent on how much lighting you have over your size tank. Some plants do need mroe CO2 than others though. So with a bit more info on your tank, we can help more.

We need to know what lighting you have, the wattage, tank size, substrate used and stocking please?

its roughly 100litre tank dont know exactly the light is 18w ( i think there are different types i have no idea what mine is sorry) the tank is a fluval tank
and its the original hood if that helps.

thanks for the help <3 :)

and its a sand substrate

stocking is 10guppys
10 neon tetra
and possibly some shrimp soon

do the plants need any weekly food? or do they get it all from the water ? and do they need to be planted in soil or just straight into the sand?

Providing they are low light plants you can put them straight in the sand and they'll get everything they need from the stock.
