My betta has started to attack its reflection unceasingly. The only way for me to get him to calmdown is to damn near turn out all the lights. As a result the plants arent getting enough light, also its just annoying because i wanna actually be able to see into the tank. Any suggestions on reducing the reflection from the tank??

Hm.. Quite a predicament you've got there. Just make sure there's always more light outside the tank than inside. That way he won't see much reflections. Or you could just leave the lights on and let him get over it. :hey:

I've noticed my boys do that for awhile after I added a shiny blue blackground to their divided tank. They stopped flaring at their reflections after a few days. :)

Why not try covering the side that he is attacking with black posterboard for a couple of weeks, then take if off and see if he has lost interest.
