I'm not sure how many people have done this but I know I did! lol Some glass stones were already with my tank when I got it but then I bought more because we all thought it looked nice. These were placed on top of a layer of gravel. It has been nearly 7 months and we are now noticing that some seem to shattering or eroding and breaking apart! My recent plan was to rescape my tanks anyway (want to go more real with live plants etc) and so I have removed all these glass stones. Thankfully, none of my fish have had any injury and I am not entirely sure they were meant to be submerged in water. But I do know I will never do this again! Has anyone else experienced this?
