superglue would be the easiest. Just tiny amounts on certain parts and dont cover it in the stuff.

regular old superglue? that you would use around the house or special aquarium stuff?

regular stuff - just check the ingredients and make sure that cyanoacrylate is the ONLY thing listed - it's aquarium safe.

Be warned that superglue turns white when added to the water, so tiny drops under the moss are required to conceal it.

Alternatively you could wrap a lot of cotton thread around the coconut until the moss clings on, but that's quite tricky.

Or as I did, pop a little hope in the top and viola

I use the lead strips that bunched plants come wrapped in, make a loop and hook it over the plant then through the hole in the coconut. Can hardly see it.

I haven't tried it with moss yet (apart fom making 'ferns' for my pico MTS bowl), but I use superglue on all the other plants (anubias and Java ferns mostly) so much better than messing around with thread and wet hands, which is
