I would leave both of them for a few weeks but if you see any signs of aggression from the male remove him. If tha male wants to breed again he might kill the fry so the female will breed again. They might eat the eggs the first few times but after a few attempts they normally get tha hang of it.

well removed my male apisto last night, seemed to be getting a little aggresive with the female, she is now swimming happily around the tank with about 60 fry,god knows what i'm going to do if most of them survive!!!

Regular water changes and lots of food, get prepared for lots of cleaning, they are mucky blithers!

well the first lot of fry all died, but they bred again, only got about 8 fry left,so will probably be looking to rehome them soon,as the pair look like their ready to spawn again

Cacatuoides are usually said to be good parents. I would just leave them in there, let nature take it's course.

Maybe have a chat with your LFS, see if they'd be willing to buy them from you? A decent LFS that is, or sell on ebay?
