Co2 System Not Using Yeast Method Or Pressurized

Been looking around for a co2 system and I found this thing on ebay. Says it doesnt need to be refilled. just play and then u somehow got co2. anybody have any experience with something like this?

It looks like one of those carbon blocks that is used for CO2 and you would have to replace it after awhile.
It's not a very popular way to obtain CO2 so I would just stick with either pressurized of yeast method, IMO.

I hear these work out, but the carbon block does have to be changed periodically. They are also ugly IMHO, not cheap either.

So be aware that they work by reacting the carbon with a chemical in the water, cant remember how exactly, but that in effect changes the water chemistry, something I'm not keen on doing personally.
