is the fitting for normal co2 bottles or for a branded one?

It's the regular style fitting.

I used to use it with fire extinguishers.

Cheers

Hi, is this still available, would you accept £20 all in?

Thanks

Still available. Would rather not sell for less right now.

Cheers

What size FEs will it fit?

Thanks

I remember using 2kg CO2 Fire extinguishers like this thread.

Wasn't aware there were different size fittings for different size FEs.

Maybe someone else can shed some light on this?

Cheers

I don't know either never used one but really interested in getting a CO2 setup as opposed to carrying on with DIY Yeast.

Let me see what I can do with money as going away on holiday this month so money is tight but if I have some spare I will deffo have this.

The sugar and yeast method becomes a chore after a while, I remember it well, and not so easy to regulate either. With cylinders you can use a timer to stop the CO2 flow shortly before the lights go off and start up agian shortly before the lights come on. They last months too.

Is that why this one has a power lead? Because of the timer?

Hopefully I can sort something in the next couple of days and put in my order haha

Yes if I remember correctly the lead feeds the power to the solenoid switch that stops the flow. You'd need a timer to plug it into.

It was a few years ago now and my memory isn't so good.

There's plenty of good folk on here that would help with advice if you need it.
