Looking at getting a second reactor. Currently have an aquamedic reactor which diffuses the CO2 into the water. But there are loads of other devices for getting the CO2 in which just adds it to the water stream. Are they any good?

I use a large CO2 ladder because it holds the bubbles in the water for longer. More dissolved C02 but i havent looked at many other options just read about one and then hunted high and low for one and finally got one sent over from the U.S

But i think they are more available now.

If your talking about inline diffusers then google the UP atomizer. They're awesome.

Why are the UP atomizers good? Do they disolve the CO2 well? Can you give me examples of the CO2 ladder? My diffuser puts CO2 in the bottom of the cylinder, it tried to float to the top where the water is coming in and battering it down¬!

C02 ladders are a bit dated now, and there are better ways of diffusing C02 now. As Steve says the 'UP' is great, as is the 'in tank' atomiser, there is also the good old glass diffuser. For me the first 2 are the best see...

up atomiser

and the in tank atomiser
