My planted tank wasn't doing well and so last weekend I invested in a JBL Proflora yeast reactor C02 system. After much waiting it's finally working :good: and I'm seeing one bubble a second released into the diffuser. My concern is is that every 15 -20mins the diffuser 'burbs' a big bubble which rises directly to the top of the tank. My question is: why is this? And if it's detrimental how can I remedy it?

they need to be dead straight. If they are slightly to one side you will get a massive bubble. The massive bubble means you aren't getting any diffusion in the water. Make sure its straight, and give it a little more time, sometimes they do settle down.

Ok thank you. I think it might not be dead straight - will check it out. Thanks so much for your help.

give us a shout if it doesn't start to work... :good:
