Clown loaches eating habits

I have had my 2 clown loaches for about 8 months now. One is now about 3.25 in long and the other is a little smaller. I was wondering at about what size they start to eat snails, because they dont seem to touch the ones in my tank. Its seems wierd because they are always hungery and looking for food, but they just bypass the snails.

I feed my fish 2x a day, morning and night. They get a mix of flake, sinking cichlid pellets (which they love) and bloodworms.

You sound like you're over feeding them. Obviously, they aren't going to go to all the trouble of hunting if it's there on a metaphorical plate.

Don't feed them for a day or so.
