Ive posted in another section before about my Clown loaches hiding well the one that was always staying in one spot, well I decided to remove this hiding place they like and he is not looking actually too good. If looks thin at the moment and is not swimming right. What shall I do?

he's was actually floating at the up of the tank, he is breathing quickly. I think he is on his way out. It does look like he is not feeding. What is happening?

I'm no expert on Loaches but could it maybe be some kind of parasite? Any other symptoms, maybe a picture. I really would not recommend taking out a place the fish like to hide when they are ill, could be pretty stressful for them. Are all the other fish alright?

All other fish are ok and happy, his hiding place was in a place where I can only just about get my finger in. Im setting up a quarantine tank at the moment, but he still has enough life in him to evade capture.

Sorry the pic is a bit grainy it was taken with an ipod touch, if you look at the middle black strip he has a silvery patch on it.
