Cloudy Water

Hi, Set up a new aqua ar 980 tank yesterday. Washed gravel well to start with, then set up the tank. Water was a little cloudy to start with, added amonia today as planning fishless cycle, but cloudiness has increased.

best advise.... wait it out, most likely either the ammonia or an algae bloom, either one will fix itself in a few days.

NICE TANK I have the 850.

Yes wait it out it will clear. It is not uncommon for a very new tank to be cloudy for a few weeks even sometime Glad you are doing a fishless cycle, have you read the pinned post on the subject CLIK HERE, it's got all you need to know

BTW you need to bring your ammonia reading up to around 5ppm and keep topping it up to that each time it starts to fall to around 2 ok? It's all explained in that post
