My tank has quite a bit of algae, and I want to clean it all up. My fake plants, driftwood, and sand all have plenty. What is the best way to clean this? Get a big bucket of hot water and scrub it with an algae scraping sponge? How about the sand?

I also wanted to get some new fish/get rid of some. I have 2 from this tank I want to keep. I need suggestions for bottom feeders, and I do not want cories. It is a tall 45g btw.

I already have 1 bolivian ram and 1 bnose plec. I wanted to add a few danios, more rams, and bottom feeders. What bottom feeders are recommended, how many danios, and how many rams?

loaches are a great bottom feeder and fun to watch

Most of the loaches I have seen are large and schooling, I don't think a 45 could handle too many. I don't like the idea of a weather/kuhli, it would be gross to be squeezing out the filter and end up touching it.

how about yoyo (pakistani) and zebra loaches?
:good:

I'll take a look at those 2 next time I'm at the store.

Bump, what's the best way to clean up all of the algae?
