Cichlid Tank Suggestions Please

Hi, i have a cichlid tank, its a 4 foot one. I was just wondering if it is overstocked? it has around 13 fish in there. Also, would you guys recommend any plants or more rocks? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

you'll need to mention the actual fish species and all the dimentions of the tank for anyone to judge if it's over stocked

hi, the dimensions are 120cm x 40cm x 45cm L-W-H. The fish i am not really sure about to be honest. i have 1 red empress, 2 orange ones i am not sure of, 2 blue ones i am not sure of, 1 johanni. yellow lab, and the rest i am not sure of sorry.

Sorry for the lack of info, the person i bought from just gave them all to me with the tank...

Looks like you have some
metriaclima estherae (red zebra)
Johanni as you mentioned
yellow lab as you mentioned
the blue fish looks like a sciaenochromis fryeri to me.

You do have quite a few haps and peacocks in your tank (the fryeri/Protomelas Taeniolatus etc..) which are larger open water species. Maybe sell these on and replace them with more mbuna like the yellow labs/johanni/ red zebra's etc??. How much filtration you got on your set-up?

ah thankss. i have a fluval 405. i might sell them on i guess, and get smaller ones, i really want to colourful ones. thanks for the help
