Hey,
I have a 10g tank with 6 cherry shrimp. I have noticed with the algae on the glass that they are little ā€œthings.ā€ everywhere on my glass. Iā€™m wishing that they were shrimplets but maybe itā€™s too small. Now these things are covering my glass. And iā€™m hoping if you guys know what it is. Bc i did get some live plants from petco which they give out with water. I first saw them before but there were only a few and now the whole glass is covered. These guys have tails and some have two little ā€œwingsā€. Some look a little red but iā€™m not sure. Thanks

Do they flick about on the glass?

They look like cyclops/ copepods.

When the time comes shrimplets look exactly like adults - only (much) smaller.

Yeah those are copepods/cyclops

Here is one of those under a microscope
