Hi, currently my hood only has room to accomodate an 18" long tube (10 or 15w i think) and as i'd like to grow more plants and use my co2 kit i need to up the lighting. Now i understand that i can't just shove a 60w desk lamp above it - but then again i cant afford a special hood, controllers, and tubes.
So, any ideas what "home solutions" i could use on the cheap yet still provide the right light temperatures for the plants to grow?
Also, as i only have approx 1wpg on my 2ft long tank i take it there is no point in using my co2 kit yet?
