Changing To Tropical

I currently have an 8 gallon tank with coldwater fish in if those fish die will i be able to put a heater in and keep a few tropical fish

Are you feeling neglected lol.
Its a bit quiet on here today all having a lie in.If you loose your golfish then yes you can put a heater in there and keep tropical. Keep your filter going. Obvously wait until its reached correct temp but i dont think there will be a problem. How long has the tank been running?

If you look after goldfish properly they can live for 20-30 years.

The reason i asked was because now you have a good mature filter in there and everything should be fine

Should i only do a partial water change then if i got tropical and how many fish would my tank allow for

Sounds about right would i maybe get 6 in it
