Carpet Plants?

I am looking at getting some kind of carpet plant for my tank. I was looking at E. parvula & while it looks lovely it sounds quite hard to keep healthy. Are there any other options?

I have sand substrate, pressurised co2 & 2 x 30w t8 lights.
