Carbon Removal With Difference

OK so my Betta had white spot which i have treated and it has now gone, I have just added the carbon pack into the filter.

Problem is he also has fin rot which needs treating ASAP so when should i remove the carbon to start fin rot meds?

If you are sure the Ich is gone, doing the largest water change possible ( leaving just enought water for your fish to swim upright ) will remove the med faster than carbon. IMO.
