Can't figure out why my guppies keep dying

warm water doesn't kill guppies.

new guppies that die usually have an external bacterial or protozoan infection. salt is the best treatment for protozoan and minor bacterial infections.

But 80F is a little high wouldn't you think
 
Most aquarium fishes are bred in tropical Asia where the water temperature regularly hits 30C/ 86F.

80F for a few months is not going to affect guppies in any way.
