I've just thought then, i'm letting my new convict cichlid's breed in my tank.

I bought them as a breeding pair and the store i got them from said they will take the fry off me when they are about an inch big.

Another store locally is going to take some off me too.

But could i personally sell any or not??

As a private person you could sell off any extra fish you have.
It's only if you're doing it regularly and/or as a business that you need a license as far as I know. Then it's to say you and all your' breeding/selling tanks have been inspected and that you are taking proper care of the fish whilst they are in your care, and that you follow the government legislation regarding the breeding/care/selling of fish.
It's the same as with any animals really.
Some people sell any fish that breed in their tanks to local stores, some sell them on ebay.

thank's, i seen the other day that you didnt need a licence but i thought i would check on here first, i dont know if i'll have any to sell anyway yet till they have some fry.
