my molly is shimmying so im going to add some salt to my tank (only if the answer is yes tho :S) and i wondered if tetras can tolerate salt? if yes, then what type of tetras can? can they all tolerate it? please help

The answer is no, tetras cannot tolerate salt. The majority of tetras especially those from south america have evolved in waters that are completely devoid of any salt content, keeping them in water that has had salt added may not kill them imiedietly but it will put immence stress on the kidneys and shorten their life spans by years.
