Can some answer this

Its a cold water question but eh every night well around 6 or 7 ceratin fishes in my tank go down to the bottom an sit there just for no reason im thinking there tired from the pump or somthin any ideas?? 8)

Although fish do not sleep in the true sense of the word, there is a period that they don't move and rest. This is mainly at night (except for nocturnal fish) and I presume that is what your fish are doing - resting for the night.

ye thats what i taught but i have the air pump and two fuval 3 pumps on all day so they might be tired from that to. Thanks! 8)

My goldfish always rest at the bottom of the pond at night too.

Fish shouldn't get tired from having pumps on. Pumps should be on at all times (except for feeding) otherwise the oxygen levels in the water will fluctuate. Most fish can deal with a great amount of movement in the water, unless they are fancy fish created by selective breeding to have strange body shapes (like a lot of ugly goldfish).
