Can Java stay in the pot?

It's better not to leave it in the pot in the long run. You should just squeeze the pot and gently pull the fiber stuff and plant out of the pot. Then gently pull the fiber off the roots and rinse the plant. If you lose a few leaves and roots don't worry too much, it'll recover.

Tie the plant to a rock or bogwood using some black string and tadaa, all done!

It will be fine where ever you put it [ even floating ], they really like the water current gently flowing through thier leaves though , and seem to do a lttle better as a result .
 
I used clippers to cut of the plastic tub surrounding my krib. It was gettin strangled. And all the soft stuff they put in there with the pot went all ova the bottum of the tank..... :X ddoh
