I got algae eating fish for my tank i also have snails i got Hikari sinking algae waffers the thing is they have trace amounts of copper i know that copper poison for snails anyone here with snails that feed this food or should i find a type with no copper

What size is your tank? How long has it been set up?

I concur. The level of copper in any fish food or in a comprehensive plant fertilizer (in case anyone wonders about this) is not sufficient to kill invertebrates, fish or plants. Unless of course the fert is overdosed.

Some fish prefer raw, some prefer blanched (partly cooked), and others prefer cooked. As long as the food is washed before use and is free of chemicals, you can feed raw, blanched or cooked. It doesn't make a lot of difference if the food is fresh.

Blanching and cooking will make the plant fibres softer and easier to eat and digest, but most suckermouth catfish don't care one way or the other :)
