I was just wondering weather I could use a 50w heater in a 90l fish tank. Thanks:).

The heater I would like to use is the Tetra HT50.

The usual guideline is 1 watt per litre so a 100 watt heater would be better. A 50 watt heater would have to work too hard in a 90 litre tank.

Do you already have the heater or are you intending to buy one new?
