Can I Get These Plants Id

Ok, first pic is Elodea or Egeria Densa (same plant, 2 names). It will grow pretty quick if it has enough light but prefers cooler water. I find my goldfish loves to munch on it! It can be planted or left floating. Will probably send out lots of white roots eventually. You can just cut it and re-plant the cuttings to get more plants :)

Second looks like Draconea, which is a non-aquatic plant and unfortunately will rot after several weeks if left fully submerged. It will probably survive if only the roots are submerged.

The third, I'm not sure what it is, but I can almost certainly say its also not aquatic and will rot too. These 2 are classic plants sold by local fish stores which are not aquatic unfortunately.

Ditto to DevUK's reply. 2nd and 3rd are definetly non-aquatic so not long term plants, they usually last a while then rot and die.

These LFS F*** me off they told me they would grow well

Will I be better to just remove them now or let them wither.

Thanks again.

You can enjoy them for a week or so, but when they start to whither away, get rid straight away. If you leave them too long they might muck up your water quality. As I say, you'll get a week or maybe 2 out of them from what I've read (never had personal experience with these).

Put them in some compost in a put on your window sill and enjoy them for months, years even ;)

Or take them back to the shop and ask for you're money back. If they complain say you'll do them for trade description as these are very much NOT aquatic plants, by any stretch of the imagination.
