right now i have a yeast based c02 system with one of these diffusers

http://www.charterhouse-aquatics.co.uk/catalog/jbl-proflora-taifun-reactor-p-3180.html

what I want to do is get a tetra pressurised co2 bottle a la: http://www.gardensite.co.uk/Tetra_Plant_Co2_Optimat.htm?sourcep=base

but just the bottle....

so is it possible just to attach that bottle to that reactor? or would it need to be the one shown in the pic?

thanks

I'm afraid it won't work, MewMew. The Optimat stuff will give 1 burst of C02 and then sit in it depot hopefully dissolving into the water. It won't work with a ladder. The optimats have a bad name really, as you can't control the amount of C02 going into the aquarium. You normally end up with unstable amounts of C02 because of the poor design.
